Steelers Fan

When Vance was born, two of my aunts gave him a Steelers jersey. In the card, they said he had no choice but to be a huge Steelers fan. Chad and I had been waiting for an occasion to come up where we would see them so he could wear the jersey, but we kept forgetting to put him in it. Vance is almost too big for the outfit so we decided to take some pictures at home and send them to my aunts.

I used black eyeshadow to get the lines underneath his eyes - try getting a 5 month old to sit still long enough to get TWO straight lines of make-up on their face. My first attempt ended with eyeshadow up Vance's nose. After having to wipe off a lot of eyeshadow, I finally got two straight lines and he was ready for his photo shoot! The pictures didn't turn out very cut, but we thought they were hilarious.

We have a blog!

I have finally decided to start blogging and am very excited about it. I didn't realize how much time it takes to design a blog. I now have a greater appreciation for all of the blogs I have looked at in the past. If anyone has suggestions about how to make the process faster I would love it if you would share them with me. If I am going to be able to keep up with this, then I have got to get faster.



For those of you who may not know me very well, I will do a one time post about the Waldron family. I am Allison (21) and am married to Chad Waldron (22). We had Vance in February so he is almost 6 months. Chad and I both grew up in Las Vegas and were high school sweethearts. We have been married for almost three years now - how time flies. We both attend UNLV. I am a finance major and Chad is majoring in accounting. We both can't wait to be done. Chad works as a mason for Marnell Masonry and I am a real estate appraiser intern for Silver State Appraisals. I love my job. I am able to bring Vance with me to work, so we are able to spend LOTS of time together. Chad and I have loved being parents and try our best to cherish all of the little moments we have as a family.

Chad has 6 siblings and all but one live in Las Vegas. I have 3 sisters who all live in Las Vegas. On top of that both of our parents live in Vegas. Needless to say we are almost always running from one family event to another, but we wouldn't have it any other way!!!
