Splish Splash

After a big rain Saturday morning, Chad decided we should go jump in the puddles. He's so fun. I absolutely love that about him!  All the boys got on their swimsuits and raced through the puddles.  The jumped and giggled and jumped and giggled for almost an hour. I had fun taking pictures and was on the receiving end of more than a few splashes.

 I seriously am obsessed with this baby boy!

 The boys had a friendly "who could make the biggest splash" competition.

 Sutton loved just crawling around in the water.  He would take breaks to just sit and observe.

 Things got even more fun when they had the idea to bike through the puddles.

Knights Soccer

Chad was Vance's soccer coach this season. It was definitely difficult for Chad to find the time he needed to devote to soccer during tax season, but he made it work.  Vance was in heaven! I'm glad that we found a way to make it happen.  Their team name was the Knights.

A lot of the team hadn't played soccer before so Chad had his work cut out for him.  They made so much progress and had a great season!!!

 Vance still loves soccer and doesn't express much interest in other sports.  We finally convinced him to try something else next year and if his passion is still soccer he can play select soccer after that.

  Vance played goalie the majority of every game.  He did great and was so fun to watch! He has no fear and throws himself on the ball every chance he gets.  He also developed quite a leg and can boot the crap out of the ball.

 I only take my camera to one game a season so I can enjoy watching him play.  Here he is as goalie -

 We call him the "wall of Forney." Haha.  Seriously though almost every coach we played would comment on how good our goalie was after the game to Chad. I'm a proud mom if you couldn't tell ;)

 Chad did a great job coaching.  The parents and players all really like him.  The definitely progressed as the season went on. Hopefully we can keep them together next year.

 Keller loves going to the games.  He plays with a few of the other players' sibling.

 The look on Sutton's face perfectly sums up how he feels about soccer.  He is luke warm about it at best.  Sometimes he is good to crawl around the bleachers but usually he just wants on the field or in Daddy's arms.

 Vance usually plays forward for one quarter.  He likes the change of position and it is fun to watch him play offensively too.

 Way to go Vance on another great season!
