I made some cups to sell during the holiday season. I have loved this new hobby so I thoroughly enjoyed making them and sold enough to cover the cost of about 30 cups for me so I feel pretty good about that!
The sweater weather cups were SO MUCH WORK! I love it but it's 400 pieces of vinyl...per cup...and you have to do two difference steps with each piece. Lots of love went into these bad boys so of course I kept one for myself!
Keller has been loving GT at school this year. They dissected a pig's heart and he thought it was pretty awesome.
We decorated the house for Christmas. I guess I was too busy enjoying the process because I only have this one pic of Keller getting the village/lantern scene just right.
My sister happened to post this picture and I had to share it. One of the few things I wanted when my grandma passed away was this sweater. I love it and will cherish this photo of her wearing it.
One lovely holiday afternoon, I was working and the boys started playing the piano and singing. That pretty much never happens so I tried to contain my excitement but I had to get one picture.
Vance ran for student council. They don't run for positions, just to be a 7th grade representative. Over 30 kids were competing for just 6 spots. He was pretty stoked (and so were we) when he found out he made it. I'm so proud of him for being brave enough to go for it. I hope he enjoys student council as much I did.
Keller had a project about body systems for GT. Chad and him made a pretty awesome replica of the digestive system.
The Terrys came to visit. It was short but we still had tons of fun.
Of course baking cookies is an absolute must when Aunt Leslie visits!
We went to a drive-thru Christmas light thing. It was really cute and a fun way to celebrate and stay safe.
Every time Vance gets a paycheck we make him set aside a certain amount to give. At school they are doing an angel tree so he decided to use his money to buy some kids' Christmas gifts. He spent over $80 and I was so proud of him.
I had a few Christmas get togethers with my girlfriends. First up was a night out of my friend's ranch. It was me, Becca, Kate, Julie, and Stormi. We ate dinner at a yummy steak house and stayed up way too late giggling (and drinking) by the fire at the ranch. It was such a fun night!
I also went out to dinner with Gracie and Dani. I love these two ladies so much and am so grateful we get to do lunch together.
Kate hosted a NFR watch party and dinner. Unfortunately we didn't get a group picture with all the hubbies but it was a great evening. Chad won the cellophane ball game and $100 Visa gift card! Way to go babe.
Vance recently had his first volleyball tournament of the season. It felt so good to be back at the courts. The boys have already improved tons and we can't wait for the rest of the season. His coach is phenomenal and Vance is loving every minute of volleyball.
My mom made some homemade gingerbread men for the kiddos to decorate. She is the best!
We went to the movies to see Croods 2. The kids love taking their blankets to the comfy theaters!
Keller stayed home from school one day. We enjoyed pedicures and lunch together. Love that sweet boy!
Colton came to visit. Him and Vance both did school virtually. I loved listening to them giggle as I worked. They also thought daily lunch dates were a must. The way to a boys' heart is definitely through their stomach!
We folded all the seats down in the car and went to go look at Christmas lights. It was definitely the best way to go enjoy lights. We found the coolest house set to music and watched for quite awhile.
Sutton had a home project. He was supposed to decorate a gingerbread man with the family and take it back to school. Well he did it by himself the first night and turned it in. I had to laugh a little when I saw it.
Sutton was featured in his school newsletter. I thought what he had to say was so sweet. I love that he loves my hugs ;)
I made some sugar cookies for Chad's boss's wife. I loved the little stocking with all her grandkid's names.
The boys also decorated a few cookies.
Every year Santa sends a video to the boys to tell them if they are on the naughty or nice list. All of them made the nice list!
My mom made the cutest hot chocolate bar this holiday season. Everyone has liked it but especially Keller. He loves hot cocoa!
We opted to watch the Candelight Christmas service at home this year. It seems like everyone we know has COVID and we want to stay healthy. It was different but special nonetheless. The boys really loved being able to watch in their pajamas. However I kinda missed dressing up.
My favorite was ending the night by singing around the piano as a family. I just closed my eyes and tried to soak it all in. I love holidays with my family!
