Mother's Day

Mother's Day was perfect this year.  We didn't do anything too crazy to celebrate. Life has been nuts so I just wanted to hang out with my family.

We started the weekend off by going out to dinner together. They wore coordinating outfits because they love me ;)

Keller couldn't wait one more minute to give me my gift. It was an adorable necklace and card.  The front of the card says "Somebody loves you. Who could it be?" After repeating that three times he opened it up and yelled, "ME! Keller!" I love his little handwriting.  There was also a questionnaire about me.

Keller made sure I promptly put on my necklace and wore it for the day.

Saturday morning we had Chad's parents over for Mother's Day breakfast. Chad made some yummy breakfast burritos and the boys did their best to make sure Grandma Waldron didn't have any personal space ;)

The next day Vance gave me his gift. It was a picture he colored along with a card, a picture of him, and some coupons for a day off, doing laundry by himself, and cleaning the house.

He also wrote me a little love letter which melted my heart. He really is the sweetest boy!

Chad started a tradition when I had Vance that every baby's first Mother's Day they got mommy diamonds. I LOVE this tradition.  Sutton hand delivered this stunning diamond ring!!! I love it and wear it everyday.  Thank you so much Chad!

I think besides Christmas, Mother's Day might be my favorite day of the year :)

Sutton @ 3 Months

My baby boy is three months already. Where does the time go? Here are Sutton's 3 month pictures. I took all three of the boy's 3 month pictures in the same hoodie. This hoodie is one of those baby items I don't think I could ever possibly get rid of. 

 Sutton has a few new tricks. He can roll over from his belly to his back. He has started batting his hands at toys hung above him. He smiles all of the time. He giggles.  He has started sucking on his fingers.

 Sutton is now sleeping an 8-9 hour stretch at night in his crib. Woohoo!!! He also naps three times a day. He isn't on a strict schedule but he is getting much better at putting himself to sleep. 

Sutton LOVES bath time. Like seriously loves it. He will kick and coo in his bath tub for like 20 minutes which is like 5 hours in adult time.  Haha

 I like to think I am his favorite person but his two brothers give me a run for my money.  They couldn't help but jump next to Sutton in his 3 month photo shoot -

I think Sutton is a good mix of Keller (top left) and Vance (bottom left). I just love my baby boys!!!

Roll over

Sutton doesn't get much time on his tummy. Someone...possibly me...usually holds him when he is awake. I decided to lay him on his tummy to see if he could roll over yet. The boys happily demonstrated how it was done and what do you know? Sutton rolls! Maybe I should lay him on the floor a little more often.  Whoopsie! Luckily I work otherwise I would hold him all of the time. He does spend time in his swing, in his bumbo (baby seat), and playing on his activity mat.

Disneyland

We recently took a day trip to Disneyland. Aunt Leslie graciously offered to watch Sutton and we were off with the older two boys, Grandma & Grandpa Sutton, and Mason. I love Disneyland and this trip didn't disappoint. The boys had so much fun!

The first ride of the day was Autopia -

We were able to switch off who rode the big kid rides and who went on rides with Keller. Grandma opted out of Splash Mountain. I am behind my dad's unfortunately placed fist ;) I love that Vance is tall enough to go on all of the rides now!

I had made the boys some Disneyland themed cookies to enjoy while we were at Disneyland. They were impressed and promptly ate them.

As fun as it is to go on big kid rides with Vance, it is even more fun to watch Keller see the many characters.  He wouldn't stop talking about Pluto as we walked in the park and luckily for him, Pluto was the first character we saw! 

The rest of the day he was fixated on seeing Peter Pan. I have no clue why because he has never even seen the movie. Luckily Grandma saw Peter Pan on his way to take a break and convinced him to wait for Keller to come meet him. Keller was BEYOND excited. I mean just look at him...

Peter Pan took his little hand and skipped around Fantasyland. My heart just about exploded. THIS is what Disneyland is all about!

It's always fun to have Grandma and Grandpa come with us!

Especially when sugar cravings call :)

Keller was hilarious with the map. He wanted to hold a map the entire day. I don't know what it is about my boy's and loving maps (remember Vance on his snowboarding trip?). He would tell us all about the different places we could go and give us directions.

It was a great day at Disneyland! We never waited longer than 25 minutes on a ride. We were able to go on all the big kid rides two times and all of the little kid rides Keller wanted to go on.

Vance & Mommy Date

A few months back I bought Vance and me tickets to see The Piano Guys. If you haven't ever heard of them take a second and look up one of their YouTube videos. They are amazing and making the coolest videos.

Vance picked me up for our date with flowers.

We headed to go grab a quick bite for dinner and then off to the show! I feel like I don't get as much quality one-on-one time with Vance now that he is in school all day. It was really good for both of us to have each other's undivided attention.

He was so excited for the show. You can't really tell in the picture but we had pretty good seats and he was pretty surprised. 

We loved the show so much we bought matching bracelets. 

The concert was great. The music was out of this world amazing!!! The musicians play modern music so even Vance recognized most of the songs. Also they had a very juvenile sense of humor that kept it interesting for even children. There were numerous times when Vance was laughing hysterically. 

Afterwards we went to grab some dessert.

I hoped that hearing/seeing music at this level would help Vance be even more passionate about the piano and I think it did.  

I promise you one thing - whatever lady gets to date this handsome son of mine is one lucky lady. He is the sweetest little gentleman ever and I might be biased but dates don't get much better than this :)
