This & That

The boys love to ride their bikes to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

 Grandpa has taken us on a few buggy rides.  Sutton just chills the whole time.

 It is bluebonnet season and I am loving it! These wildflowers are everywhere and SO pretty!

 Keller has had a few friends over to play.  He had this little girl dressing up as super heroes with him ;)

 The boys discovered dominoes -

 We are beyond ready for tax season to be over. I started a countdown once we made it to April.

 My dad has been doing lots of yard work.  He rented a tractor. Well the other day we came over and it was stuck...like really stuck! Luckily after awhile Chad and my dad were able to get it out.

 I decided to get a gym membership.  It's time! Busy season is almost over and I need to take the time to focus on me again.  I decided to try to run 3 miles and see how it went. It actually went better than I thought!

The boys have been into Rubiks cubes.  Vance really wanted me to solve his so I got online and followed these instructions.

Then I totally geeked out and memorized how to do it without the instructions.  My best time is 1:32. I know it's nerdy, but you must be a little impressed ;)

Vance is trying hard to get Sutton to walk.  The little booger will hold your hand and walk for days but no steps on his own!

Oceans of Fun

Vance's school put on the cutest play called Oceans of Fun. It was all about how different is cool.  They sang lots of songs with hilarious actions.  Everyone dressed up as sea creatures.  Vance's role was the great white shark.  

 He worked hard and memorized all his lines.  He did great!!!

 My parents were able to come watch the big show!

 I had to make his costume.  Thanks you Pinterest for the easy shark costume idea!  Vance loved it so much he is still wearing it. Haha!

The Reason

Sutton is the reason I can't get anything done or keep my house picked up. This is what every room he goes in looks like after about 2 minutes -

I pray for patience daily to help me through this age.  From about now until 2 1/2 years old it is a little rough in my book.  However I know he is my last and I don't want to wish it away.  I just need patience.  Lots and lots of patience.

Keller & Mommy

Four is my second favorite age (newborns will always be my fave).  That being said I am having SO much with Keller right now.  He makes me smile multiple times throughout the day.  The way a 4-yr-old's little mind works is great.  Their logic is too cute and they say the funniest things.  They are old enough to be independent but young enough to giggle and cuddle.  Plus they still want mommy to be their best friend and believe she has magic kisses. It really is the best!

I have a picture of Vance and I around this same age.  I wanted to document this season of life with Keller too.  Luckily for me, my cousin was visiting and willing to snap a few pictures while I played with Keller.  They are just what I had in mind and I love them!

I wish life had a pause button sometimes. I am trying my best to enjoy the now because the phase that comes next is the awkward/slightly annoying/crazy little boy stage.  It's true.  It isn't the best but I am sure we will manage to have fun through that phase too.

Golf Practice

We never would've imagined we could work on our golf swing in our own backyard.  How cute is this?!

After snapping a few pictures I got in on the fun too! I could definitely use more practice. Haha

Maddie visits

My cousin, Maddie, came to visit! She goes to Sterling College in Kansas.  She had a few days off school around Easter and came down to spend the holidays with us. It is always fun to have visitors and we had a blast with her!

We headed to the park one day to enjoy the beautiful weather. We snapped a selfie of the three redheads. Maddie and Sutton are natural so they have a special bond ;)

Maddie loves to play games so we played lots and lots of games. I loved every minute of it!

We took her to Bucee's. That seems to be a must-see with all of our visitors.  It is close by and something kind of fun and mellow. It is just a huge gas station.  We found these ridiculously comfortable hoodies on clearance. Aren't we so cute with our matching shirts? (From my previous post you know matching makes me happy so I love this!)

Maddie is a selfie queen so she took so many fun pictures with the boys during her stay.  They had so much with her and were so bummed when she left.

We loved having you and miss you already Maddie!

Matching

I love matching.  I would have our family looking like we were taking family pictures everyday if I could.  However I definitely don't have that much energy.  I do however try to have the boys match when I can.  When we had Keller I bought lots of matching shirts for him and Vance.  It has been so fun to get those same shirts out and have Keller and Sutton match.  I have three of the cutest boys around!!!
