Boymom

Amy and I ordered these adorable "Boymom" shirts. We both happened to be wearing them one night so we snapped a pictures of us and all six of our crazy boys!

 I absolutely love having three boys and wouldn't change it for the world.  It is so different from the all-girl household I grew up in. I have had to quickly learn all about super heroes, wrestling, monster trucks, etc. They can get pretty crazy and rowdy but I have slowly adjusted. 

The bonus of no daughters is I'm the only princess in our house :)

Waldron Girls Day

All of the Waldron girls got together one Saturday to spend some time together.  Carleen was in charge of planning/hosting the day.  She made us a yummy breakfast and then we headed off to Hobby Lobby to get supplies to make a wreath.

Sutton and Silvia were the only little ones invited to tag along.  Aren't they so sweet sleeping?!

It was fun to just visit and craft together!

 Here is my finished wreath. I love it and now it is hanging up on my front door!

Sky Zone

My boys LOVE going to Sky Zone but it is kinda pricey so we don't go a lot. This last week work was a little crazy in the beginning of the week so towards the end of the week I decided to take Keller to do something fun. Mommy/Keller date!!!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!!

 Easter morning we got up and headed to church. We tried to snap a few pictures. Keller's smile isn't so great in the family photo but we tried. LOL. I think my boys all look pretty dang handsome!

 The boys were excited about their Easter baskets. They all got a new swimsuit and swim shirt/

 Vance got a magic kit, some soccer band aids, a few candies, and a painting kit.

 Keller got some super hero stuff, TNMT socks, and candy.

 Sutton got a fun Easter onesie and bubbles.

 Later that day we headed to Aunt Laurie and Laurie's for lunch and the big Easter egg hunt.

 Keller only wanted the eggs with candy. If he thought there was money in it he wouldn't pick it up.  Silly boy! He had fun and took his time gathering his eggs.

 Vance thought Uncle Chad's egg "boobs" were pretty hilarious!

 Keller couldn't wait to head inside and start opening those eggs. He opened as he ate. Gotta love that boy!

 Vance found two of the big money eggs! Plus Keller gave him the money he found so Vance ended up with almost $35. He wanted to go to the store immediately. He ended up buying this electronic dog thing. I think it is dumb. He loves it.

 Every Easter the Lauries have a piñata. This one was hilarious!

 After Keller took his turn he just plopped himself of this guy's lap. We don't even know him. He was a friend of a friend. Now he is clearly Keller's BFF.

 Vance took a couple of big swings too!

Cookies, cookies, cookies

I having been wanting to make cookies again and decided Easter was the perfect reason.  I got a little over zealous when I was making the dough.  Haha. I ended up making nearly 100 cookies. It was fun to decorate them because I wasn't in a hurry. I drew the process out over the course of a few days. Here's the finished cookies -

I made these for Chad to take to the office. I try to send treats in a few times a year. It makes me (and hopefully him) look good ;)  Haha

 My best friend had a birthday so of course I wanted to send some to her! Unfortunately I didn't let the cookies dry for long enough so the frosting got a little messed up in the shipping process but it's the thought that counts.

 There were a few new techniques I wanted to try out. They were pretty and I will definitely be trying them again!

 These are the cookies that I took to the Easter party we went to.

 I ordered the boys a monster truck cookie cutter. I made each of them a few monster truck cookies to decorate with me. They had fun and even did pretty good!

 Vance did the three on the left, Keller did the three on the right, and I did the one of the bottom.

Luckily we shared most of our cookies because otherwise I would've kept eating them :)

Spring Break

We had a great spring break full of having fun with cousins and just relaxing!  

One day we hung out at Leslie's and went swimming. The water was WAY too cold for me but the kids didn't seem to mind, especially Vance. I swear that boy never gets cold!

Sutton and I hung out in the shade and made sure Keller didn't drown :)

Everyone hung out at our house one day too.  They had fun playing beyblades (metal top thingies).  

My brought her Easter treats for all the kid to my house. The kids couldn't wait to open (and eat) them. She's so cute!

My mom also brought over stuff to dye eggs. She had previously hard-boiled a dozen eggs for each kid. Seriously I don't know how she finds the time to do all of this but we sure love that she does!

Keller wasn't much for variety.  All of his eggs are solid green. Whatever floats your boat right?! Vance on the other hand had fun trying out different techniques. 

Us moms just observed and tried to make sure no one made too huge of a mess ;)

Later we took all the kids to see the new movie Home. The kids had fun giving each other piggy back rides on the walk to the theater. Silly boys!

We had one day to just chill out at home.  We all stayed in our pajamas the entire day and relaxed. It was absolute perfection.  Vance asked to hold Sutton during one of his naps. I think it was good for the two of them to have sometime to bond. With Vance at school all day and then he is usually busy in the evenings they don't get many chances to just sit and snuggle.

The older two boys went camping one night with Grandpa and Grandma Waldron. They were SOOOO excited to go!!! I hung out that evening at Amy's house. The next day I just played with Sutton. He is smiling a lot more now and I finally captured a few.

The boys got home late Friday night. They couldn't wait to tell me every detail of their trip the next day. They went fishing and paddle-boating. They rode bikes and just played. Thanks Rand & Georganne. The kids had a blast and I thoroughly appreciated the break.

Saturday morning my parents hosted a mellow Easter breakfast complete with bunny french toast. 

 Leslie was taking a selfie (as usual) to send to Briton. Apparently she didn't care that I just took a bite!

After breakfast we headed to BassPro to see the Easter bunny. The boys were so excited to see him. It was pretty cute!

We finished the week off with a trip to the lake. The water is still way too cold for me but we enjoyed just taking a ride. We packed dinner and ate it on the boat and just enjoyed the sunset.  I can hardly wait for summer to come!

 Chad and Vance even swam for awhile. Those two are kindred spirits and absolutely crazy!

 Spring break was just what the doctor ordered. Too bad it had to end :(
