Sutton started piano lessons. He is excited and happily practices every day. I'm enjoying that phase while it lasts!
Chad and I worked together on a sign for our back patio. I've been looking for the perfect decoration and just couldn't find it. A little wood stain, vinyl, chalkboard, and our time and I love it!!!
We had a fun summer night with our besties!
In order to fight the boredom, I took the boys to Hobby Lobby. Everyone picked out a few craft kits and they've been getting them out here and there. It's fun to craft together even though it always seems to make the most enormous mess possible.
Backyard baseball just never gets old. The boys haven't played in awhile so I had to take a quick picture.
Leslie and Joe came to Texas for a week. They needed some bookkeeping and tax help from Chad but we managed to squeeze in some fun too.

Of course we managed to fit in some Catan, even though we both still had work. However it was nice to visit next to each other while we worked.
Leslie and Joe were troopers and went to Vance's sand volleyball tournament in the scorching heat!
I had to laugh when I looked out the window and saw the boys and their friends piled into a raft with the dogs. Summer days are the best!
Keller had oral surgery to remove the extra tooth between is front teeth. He was a little sad but a trooper. Now hopefully his teeth will straighten a little bit on their own.
Our boys LOVE the dogs. I was cracking up when Sutton fell asleep on the dog bed while spooning with Autumn. Haha!
I got some new side tables for outside. Keller and Sutton quickly went to work assembling. It was so cute to watch them work.
The house has felt a little chaotic with everyone home for so many months. I declared a much needed "organize the entire house day." The boys grumbled a little but the entire house feels so much better. I finished in my closet with one of my favorite clothing hacks. I turn all the hangers backwards. As I wear the items I hang them up correctly. In a few months, I donate whatever I haven't worn.
We picked up a few, fun new games. The boys really liked Googly Eyes. It's essentially Pictionary but you wear glasses that distort your vision.
I went to the dermatologist for a skin check. I haven't ever had one and figured it was probably past due with my fair complexion and love of the sun. She treated a small precancerous spot on my nose while left me with a beautiful blister. Other than that I was good to go!
Vance offered to take me on a date. He said he would pay and everything. I thought it was so sweet!!! He treated me to breakfast at Oscar Delta. He knows how much I love to go on a morning drive so once breakfast was over, he asked if I wanted to go drive for a bit. We chatted and laughed and had a great time together. He is such an awesome young man!
