Sutton-baby turns one today!!! Where has the time gone?! I can't imagine life without him. We are all pretty obsessed with him and he has definitely made our family feel complete. He is already spoiled rotten by Mom, Dad, and both his brothers. Whoopsie!
For his one year old photos we decided to do a cake smash. It is always extra special to take pictures of my own kids. He loved the cake and was way too busy eating it to waste time smiling. He devoured the cake and made some pretty hilarious faces in the process, Apparently birthday cake is serious stuff!
Sutton loves balls, especially smaller ones that are close to the size of a ping pong ball. He will play fetch around the house. He throws it, crawls after it, and does it again. Good doggy!
Sutton has started saying a few words: mama, dada, bubba (brother), and the occasional uh-oh.
He will wave, clap, high-five, shake his head, and give kisses. However, he doesn't like to show off his tricks very often. He has to be in the mood or else it ain't happening.
He will only eat things he can feed himself. He pretty much refuses everything we try to feed him with a spoon or fork. Except ice cream...he loves ice cream! He loves chicken and eggs!
He is pulling himself up on everything and will use his walker. He isn't close at all to actually walking. He has stopped army crawling and actually crawls on all fours now though.
Sutton has two bottom teeth and that's it. His hair is as red as ever and has the prettiest blue eyes. He is chunking up quite nicely. I love his thick thighs and squeeze them all the time.
Sutton is a great sleeper. He takes two naps and goes to bed at night without a full. He sleeps almost 12 hours at night without waking up and it feels good!

He loves Mommy but still light up when Daddy or his brothers walk in the room.
He loves any thing that fits perfectly in his hand: a d battery, small TV remote, a small ball, etc. Once he attaches himself to an object he will crawl around all day with it. It cracks me up.
Sutton has started to dance a little bit when he hears music. It is funny to watch him bounce up and down.
He loves his silky blanket and his binky. As long as he has those two things he is good to go. It is going to be a rough day when we decide it is time to take away the binky.
He loves to be outside. Sometimes he just watches everything around him and other times he is off exploring on his own. We have to be careful though because he still loves to shove everything in his mouth.
He will rarely hold his own sippy cup. He just sits there and lets you hold it. He is so lazy it is ridiculous. Then when he is done drinking he just spits everything out. It is so messy! I can't wait for him to drink like a regular baby.
