We went on our annual tiny house trip. It came at the perfect time for our little family this year. We unplugged and recharged all weekend. It was perfection!
We ate around the campfire and chatted the night away.
We had so much fun using the kayaks and pedal boat (as you can tell by the picture overload). The afternoons got a little warm so it was nice being in the water. Mill Creek Ranch is so beautiful. I just love all the ponds and trees!
The kiddos played in the treehouse while the adults played a little volleyball.
As usual we played lots and lots of catch. Chris and Landon used to play baseball and they don't have kids old enough to play catch with so they loved playing with the older boys. They seriously played catch for over an hour. Keller and Sutton were in heaven!
Every year we tie dye shirts. It's fun to see the designs the kids come up with.
I brought out a few Halloween games. First up was Halloween Bingo. Every winner happily yelled, "TINY HOUSES!" and got to pick out a Halloween prize.
Next up was the pumpkin toss. You got three chances to toss the pumpkin in the Halloween bowl. If you made it then we increased the distance.
Vance and his friend Owen were the winners. We let Vance invite a friend since most of the kiddos are so much younger. Owen was so chill and fun to have around. Plus Vance loved having a friend!
The kids always love playing Giant Jenga. The little ones love to build towers and knock them down.
We tried a new dessert and it was a hit. They were called Campfire Cones. You took waffle cones and filled them mini marshmallows and other toppings. I bought chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, strawberries, bananas, sprinkles, and Halloween candy.
Then Eric cooked them on the grill. They were ooey gooey deliciousness!
Then it was time for glowsticks and soccer!
Since we have a bigger group they let us use a golf cart. It is definitely a highlight for the kiddos.
Nothing beats a peaceful breakfast and coffee in the great outdoors. It's good for the soul!
More catch and fielding with Mom and Dad -
Our tiny houses are across from a field and some rolling hills. The kids love to ride their bikes down it. Inevitably a few kids crash but it doesn't seem to slow them down.

Our last day we obviously have to snap some photos in our tie dye.

We love our people and are so grateful to have been able to enjoy such a great weekend. I'm already looking forward to next year!
